| @ Kagaminuma-Mirror Marsh Location: North-East side of Mt. Annupuri
In a calm sunny day with no wind, the water surface will reflect the surrounding scenery like a mirror. "Kagaminuma" means mirror marsh in Japanese.
Around the marsh, you can see remnants of the original Hokkaido forest - this includes some primitive trees such as Japanese oak, Acer pictum and Magolia obvata. |
| Lake Hangetsu National Park Location: at the foot of Mt. Yotei
The Lake Hangetsu or "Half Moon Lake" National Park has a beautiful nature walk around a volcanic crator lake at the foot of the breathtaking Mt.Yotei. It takes about 15 minutes to the lake from a parking lot, about 1 hour around the lake by foot.

| Shibazakura-Moss phlox Location: Asahigaoka Park or Mr. Mishima's garden One of the symbolic flower in spring, moss phlox, blooms between later May and early June every year. In Asahigaoka park, you can walk along the foot path through the lovely moss phlox to find a superb town view from the top of the hill. Mr. Mishima's garden is skillfully made by Mr. Mishima, an ex-farmer. The garden is symbolic representation of Mt. Yotei using earth shape, white and pink moss phlox. |
| Iwaonupuri Red Maples Mt. Iwaonupuri is located on Route 58 (closed in winter) and is the next mountain after Mt. Annupuri from Kutchan town. Here, Japanese maple and birch turn brilliant red and yellow in the autum. Its beauty attracts many tourists from all over Japan and the world. Enjoy walking through the mountain range, and then relax after in Goshiki natural hot spring. |

Public toilet, outside water and fireplace are available. The capacity is 15 tents. Enjoy camping and 800 square meters of glass field with beautiful view of Mt. Yotei. 5min to Hotel Yotei and 10 min to the nearest supermarket. Another camping site is located in LAKE HANGETSU NATIONAL PARK. It has a public toilet, outside water, and primitive forest. 1 minutes to the trailhead of Kutchan trail course in Mt. Yotei. |
